Welcome to YakaWORK. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the YakaWORK website, and any related services provided by us. By using our platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Overview

YakaWORK is a platform that connects clients ("Clients") and freelancers ("Freelancers"). Clients can post projects, and Freelancers can offer their services through "Gigs" or by submitting proposals to projects.

2. User Accounts

To use most features of the platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your password.

3. Orders and Payments

• When a Client purchases a Gig or accepts a proposal, they are purchasing a service from a Freelancer.
• Payments are made through YakaWORK and are held in escrow until the order is marked as complete by the Client.
• YakaWORK charges a service fee on each transaction, which will be clearly displayed before payment.
• Freelancers are paid their earnings after the successful completion of an order, minus our service fee.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Violating any laws or regulations.
• Sharing contact information to communicate or take payments outside of the YakaWORK platform.
• Posting false, misleading, or inaccurate information.
• Harassing, abusing, or harming another person.

5. Intellectual Property

When a Freelancer delivers work, and upon full payment, the Client is granted all intellectual property rights to the delivered work, unless otherwise stated by the Freelancer in their Gig description.

6. Disclaimers

The services on YakaWORK are provided "as is." We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall YakaWORK or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on YakaWORK's website.

8. Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms of service for our website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
